Borrowed Bodies 2018 (1 of 10)
Our bodies are not our own.
We do not reside in the same body we were born into nor the one we lived in ten years ago. Our bodies are impermanent, like time and borrowed.
In my photographs I try and treat the body as a prop within the image. I don’t see it as belonging or identifying to the person, a sex but as an entity of its self. This distance allows me to read its expressions and beauty independently as it moves and I positioned it within the space.
10 images in the series 6 of which have a painted layer.
